Planning (Acrylic)
Assistance with your final product selections, prepare the construction agreement that includes scopes of work, begin/end dates, payment terms, licensing and insurance information. Order products & materials, schedule trade partners, and apply for the building permits.
Preparation
Deliver dumpster (placed on ground protection), and portable toilet for our workers. Surface and floor protection includes roll-out mats, draped plastic over furniture, dust containments, designated areas for tools and materials.
HVAC
Install an exhaust fan vented to the exterior through a sidewall or soffit
Plumbing Fixtures
Install drain and water supply lines to planned locations. Install new shutoff valves, p-traps, fixtures, and test for leaks.
Electrical Devices
Install wiring to devices, new switches, dimmers, outlets, recessed lights, and vanity lighting fixtures.
Insulation
Install fiberglass insulation in exterior walls and ceilings below any unfinished space.
Drywall
Installation of mold/mildew resistant drywall, tape, compound, sand and prepare your walls and ceiling for painting.
Tile; Shr. Walls (*) sf. Shr. Floor (*) sf. Bath Floor (*) sf. Shelves (*) ea. Deco (*) lf. Cap (*) lf.
Shower spaces receive tile backer board and water protection membraine to guard against leaks. Floor areas recieve anti-fracture membrane to guard against cracking. Tile setters will then install ceramic or porcelean tiles set in the determined pattern. Grout and seal any joints. Wet area corners are protected with a 100% siliconized sealant (caulk)
Finishes; Trim/Molding (*) Lf.
Carpenters will install new baseboard molding. We will also be installing your towel bar, toilet paper dispenser, hand towel ring, shower rod, and vanity mirror.
Painting
Prepare new surfaces with one coat of acrylic primer. Apply two coats to walls of one color in a flat finish. Apply two coats to ceilings of one color in a flat finish. Apply one coat to window, door, basemoldings, and room facing door of one color in a semi-gloss finish
Products
Product choices willl include name brands that you’re familiar with such as Kohler, Moen, Benjamin Moore, and Sterling. Your bathroom will include plumbing fixtures, a solid wood vanity with stone countertop, ceramic or porcelain tile, fresh paint, and tub/shower enclosures
